Kathryn Fowler was a member of the varsity women's basketball and women's lacrosse teams. Additionally, she participated in hockey and played on the men's club volleyball team during her time on campus.
On the hardwood, Fowler connected on over 50 percent of her shots, while finishing second on the squad in assists and rebounds.
A key member to the success of the lacrosse team, Fowler's athletic talents were impressive. On the volleyball court she was known for being an excellent setter who could also finish off a key spike when called upon.
Her love and passion for sports continued long after graduation as she went to coach women's basketball, men's and women's tennis, and was an assistant women's lacrosse coach at the collegiate level.
The legendary Mary Culhane described Fowler as "a fine athlete that helped pave the way for women's athletics at Oberlin."
Fowler's interests outside of athletics include food justice and local food production.
