An accomplished swimmer under the guidance of hall of fame head coach Dick Michaels, Jenny Krumpus was a two-time NCAA national qualifier and Academic All-American.
A multiple school-record holder throughout her career, her time of 2:29.47 in the 200-yard breaststroke still ranks fifth all-time in school history. A team captain for three years and team MVP for four years, she featured prominently in the 200 and 400-yard individual medley as her career-best marks in those events remain just outside the top-10 in program history.
Krumpus graduated with honors in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in art history. A member of the National Art Education Association, she has been working in the New York City public school system since 2003.
She and her husband Darrin have two children, Gus and Josie.
