Jeff Alteri, A member of the Oberlin Class of 1967, Alteri earned three varsity letters in soccer (1965-67) and participated in lacrosse during college years. As a member of the soccer team, the Yeomen compiled a record of 22-5-2, outscoring opponents 92-42 and shutting them out in 11 games in three seasons. He was selected to the All-Midwest Soccer Team and the All-Ohio Soccer Team as well as being tabbed as N.S.C.A.A. All-American. After receiving his bachelor of arts in sociology, Alteri went on to obtain his master's in pyschology from the State University of New York at Oswego. In addition to receiving his master's degree, Alteri was an assistant soccer coach while at SUNY-Oswego.
