A sharp-shooter from Houston, Texas, Cristina Briboneria was a four-year starter and two-time All North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) selection.

As a senior, Briboneria led the NCAC in scoring (17.9 ppg) and assists (3.23 apg) while finishing second in the league with 2.58 steals per game. Additionally, her 82 made 3-pointers that season led the conference and remain as a single-season school record.

Graduating with 1,232 points, she is one of just 18 players in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau. Originally setting seven school records, Briboneria still holds five Oberlin records including career 3-pointers made (234), 3-pointers attempted (676), and 3-point percentage (.346). Additionally, she ranks in the top five of the 40-year history of the NCAC in single-season 3-point field goals made (82), career 3-point field goals made (234), and career steals (280).

Off the court, she served as co-chair of the Filipino American Student Association (FASA) and co-chair of Colors of Rhythm. She also studied as a McNair undergraduate research scholar in mathematics, where she and her advisor studied home court advantage over a 20-year span of the North Coast Athletic Conference(NCAC) in basketball, and found that there was no home-court advantage in the NCAC. Briboneria also worked in Philips Gymnasium and as student athletic trainer for the sports medicine department.

A 2005 graduate with degrees in mathematics, history, and a minor in religion, Briboneria went on to attend Oglethorpe University (GA) to become a Certified Financial Planner®. She is currently a managing director and private CFO® at oXYGen Financial and is considered one of the top financial planners in the country. Her expertise has led to her being interviewed on NBC TV, Yahoo Finance, Reuters, ABC News, Fox Business, The Points Guy, Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) and other media outlets. Currently, in her quest for continuing education she is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary.

As an Alum Briboneria has served as an officer on the Alumni Leadership Council, a Georgia Regional Coordinator, and she served on President Ambar's Academic and Administration Program Review committee that developed the "One Oberlin" strategic planning report.

Briboneria currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, but spends much of her time with family in Houston and Los Angeles throughout the year.
