Bethany Pribila is one of the best tennis players who ever wore an Oberlin uniform. A four-year letter-winner, Pribila won a total of 104 matches with 59 of those wins coming in singles play.
Pribila earned many awards for her performance on the tennis court. She was named first-team All-NCAC in every season during her career as a Yeowoman. In addition, Pribila was given the Honda Scholar-Athlete award and was placed on the prestigious NCAC All-Decade team.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and psychology, Pribila went on to earn a master of science in nutrition from Purdue University and a juris doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law.
Currently, Pribila is an associate at the energy law boutique firm Miller, Balis & O’Neil, P.C., in Washington, D.C., which is an. Prior to her current position, Pribila worked as a law clerk to the presiding judge in Fairbanks, Alaska. She was also an associate at a law firm in Anchorage, Alaska.
Pribila continues to play tennis while also participating in triathlons and marathons. In 2006, she ran in the Boston Marathon. In 2009, she ran her personal-best time of 3:33:03 at the Chicago Marathon. She also enjoys hiking and camping.
