Quidditch:
This weekend the Oberlin Obliviators traveled to Dayton on Friday night and competed against Case Western and Dayton! Although we lost both of our games, we played hard and enjoyed playing against evenly matched teams. We also participated in a combined game with mixtures of players from all teams, which allowed us to practice playing with different people. We look forward to playing against Case Western again this Saturday.
Dressage:
The Oberlin College Dressage team competed at their first show of the season this weekend! Though the team didn't place quite as well as they wanted, the riders rode extremely well and put forth their best effort. Caroline Budnick'21 competed at her first show ever and we are so excited to have her as part of the team! Can't wait for the rest of the season!!
Tumbling Club:
Tumbling Club had a good week as our members slowly tickled back in and got back in the rhythm of both being back on campus and in classes and attending practices. Most notably this week, we had our general interest and planning meeting for the fall OCircus show. We had quite a few people attend and we're really excited by the diversity of acts and the numbers. It looks like we'll have around 15 acts, including both individual and group, ranging from silks to object manipulation to partner acro to tumbling. We even had some people join us who are not members of any of the individual clubs that make up OCircus. We always make sure to open our doors to anyone interested in performing and don't require that they be a member, so it was really great to see new faces taking advantage of that.
After the meeting, everyone was excited and motivated so even though we'd been practicing for over an hour, most people stuck around until long after five coming up with ideas and trying new things, as well as collaborating with others who want to do a group act.

Bowling:
The Thunder took a men's and women's team to Michigan to compete in a tournament against schools like Ohio State, Michigan, and Kent St. There were some bright moments and a great time overall for the bowlers.
