Westlake, Ohio – Turning in a record-breaking performance over the weekend, Oberlin College track and field harrier,
Walter Moak, has been named NCAC Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.

Walter Moak turned in a record-breaking performance at the Wooster Invitational, winning the 3,000m steeplechase in 9:17.67.
Moak's time not only earned him a first-place finish but also broke the Wooster stadium record. His mark currently leads the NCAC and ranks 15th nationally in Division III, reinforcing his status as one of the premier distance runners in the region.
The track and field crew return to competition this weekend for the All-Ohio Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. The championships are set to begin on Friday, April 10 and wrap up on Saturday, April 11.
