Indianapolis – On Wednesday the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Committee announced that Oberlin College senior Farah Leclercq was selected as one of 32 players nationwide to play in the Individual Championship Tournament.

Leclercq, a native of Ocala, Florida, enters the tournament as the fourth-ranked player in the ITA Central Region. The Yeowomen's ace throughout the year, she finished the season with an impressive 21-7 record in singles play.

“I am very happy for Farah to have the opportunity to play at nationals,” Head Coach Constantine Ananiadis said. “She has had a tremendous season and certainly deserves this honor.”

Earlier this month, Leclercq was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year and First-Team All-NCAC selection. She and doubles partner Grace Porter were All-NCAC Second-Team selections and have been selected as second alternates for the national doubles tournament as well.
