Martorella Takes 10th in First Race at Nationals

Molly Martorella placed 10th among the field in the Thurday's 10,000-meter run at the NCAA Division-III National Championships

La Crosse, Wis. - Oberlin junior Molly Martorella finished 10th out of the field of 23 competitors in the 10,000-meter run during Thursday's events at the NCAA Division-III Track and Field National Championships.

In her first of two races at nationals this weekend, Martorella took 10th in the 10,000-meters with a time of 36:17.22. She will have a few days of rest before running in the 5,000-meter run on Saturday night. The event is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. EST. 

Along with Martorella, Yeomen senior Alexander Guo will also be competing at nationals on Saturday in the triple-jump. Guo is set to begin the event at 1:30 p.m. EST.
