Oberlin, Ohio - Robin Witjes,
Jake Danko and
Clay Eaton were each recognized for their outstanding play this past Saturday against Denison.
Witjes was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his 12-catch, 222-yard and two-touchdown performance in the Yeomen's 30-6 win against the Big Red. It was the second-highest receiving total in school history, trailing only Ricky Valenzuela who had 239 yards in a game in 2001.
Witjes scored the Yeomen's first touchdown, which covered 89 yards – marking the lonest pass play in the 122-year history of Oberlin College football. (

Danko and Eaton were each named to the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) Team of the week. The duo combined for seven sacks and eight tackles for a loss in the win.
Danko turned in a career-high nine total tackles - all of which were solo – to go along with a career-high four sacks and five TFL's for a total of 36 yards.
In addition to his three sacks, Eaton forced a fumble and recovered another in the victory. He now leads the entire NCAA regardless of Division in total sacks with 12.5, which is just one shy of the single-season school record. His three TFL's in the game gave him 48.5 for his career to move into first all-time in the Yeomen record book.
Look for all three of these players to play a major role in Saturday's game with Case Western.
