The event, which is open to current Oberlin College students and recent alums, will take place on February 19 from 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. in the Science Center Perlik Commons.
Some of the guests panelist include Don Blumenthal '73, Part-time Scout for the Oakland Raiders; Laura Pierce '03, Head Cross Country Coach, Millikin University; Scott Kretchmar '66, Professor of Exercise Science, Penn State University; Chad Kutting'06, Account Executive, San Francisco '49ers;
Tim Carver, Purdue '88 Director of Sports Medicine at Oberlin and others. Chris Broussard '90, a senior writer for ESPN The Magazine, will be the Master of Ceremonies. A complete list of attendees is below.

Chad Kutting

Chad is responsible for the growth and development of season tickets, group tickets, luxury suites and other premium inventory. He works closely with local businesses, association and organization to demonstrate how various packages benefit their groups.

Laura Pierce

Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach, Assistant Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach, Millikin University
As the head cross country coach, Laura is responsible for developing workouts for the season, scheduling, hosting two home cross country meets, and recruiting future Millikin runners. As the assistant track coach, she continues to plan workouts for the middle and distance runners, continue recruiting, and assist with the track season's administrative duties.
Tim Carver

Tim administers the medical treatment program for the 22 intercollegiate athletic teams as well as separate program for the 16 club sport teams. These programs consist of both on-site and clinical medical care.

Scott Kretchmar

Professor of Exercise and Sport Science
Scott teaches philosophy of sport and conducts research on the same. He is also the NCAA Faculty Athletics Rep at Penn State and runs a doctoral program in sport philosophy. Scott chairs the NCAA Scholarly Colloquium and is the founding Editor of the Journal of Intercollegiate Sport
Joe Sheehan

Baseball Operations Data Analyst for the Pittsburgh Pirates
Joe is primarily involved with managing and adding new data sources to scouting and statistical databases. These databases provide insight into the expected performance of various players. He also works closely with the Director of Baseball Systems Development to make sure the databases are compatible with the internal player-information program.

Dan Tudor

Dan runs a company that consults with college athletic departments across the country, teaching coaches and athletic directors how to recruit more effectively. His approach involves building relationships within athletic departments and analyzing needs and goals. He then can develop effective recruiting campaigns.
Prior to this company, Dan was a partner in an advertising company, founded a collegiate recruiting services company, worked as a regional manager and trainer for a Fortune 100 company (Pitney Bowes) a television sportscaster for ABC in California.
